Working in Manufacturing at JLR, you will be the hands-on expert who brings innovation to life. You will collaborate with a team of expert technicians and problem-solvers and use cutting-edge tools, facilities, and processes engineered together to build era-defining vehicles that people across the world know and love. Your expertise will directly impact the shaping of modern luxury.

The Jaguar Land Rover Import and Export Operations / Trading Division is a unique team that buys products around the world in support of Jaguar Land Rover's global manufacturing activities. The International Shipping Analyst will support a multi-disciplined team in the delivery of production requirements and schedule all work orders through the manufacturing process. This role primarily supports the transportation of components internationally, manages logistics operations, and ensures scheduling and supply chain compliance.

What to Expect

  • Support the management of the import/export & shipping function, overseeing consolidation & export of material from origin (UK, China, India, Malaysia) via sea, rail, air freight, customs through bonded warehouse.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to schedule release and shipping and import/export standards, including engineering and launch operations.
  • Maintain clear processes for shipments and replacement engines/parts and scheduling adjustments.
  • Help resolve change requests required to SAP systems to optimise the processes.
  • Monitor, control and report component stocks and shipping status in line with schedule parameters – time and quality – and escalates issues where appropriate.

What You'll Need

  • Experience in material planning / logistics, preferably from motor manufacturing / FMCG or supply base industry.
  • Ability to quickly understand and challenge logistics processes.
  • ERP systems knowledge (SAP / CMMS).
  • Experience of process mapping and design.
  • Advanced analytical and MS Excel skills.
