Industrial Operations is where we add value to our modern luxury ethos. Whether in Procurement, sourcing vital products and services, or Supply Chain, managing Logistics Operations and Fulfilment, you will ensure seamless operations for our iconic vehicles across our global footprint while prioritising sustainable initiatives. Working with cross‑functional teams, you will be part of how we drive efficiencies and implement industry‑leading practices.

We are seeking a DSI Lead Engineer with proven experience in launching one or more vehicle system zones (Front, Side, Rear, Interior, or Underbody). The successful candidate will be appointed based on business needs and product cycle plans. Dimensional Systems are responsible for all aspects of Dimensional Quality, including Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) of product design, defining and delivering the Measurement and Metrology strategy, and supporting quality maturation of new vehicles throughout launch. Our team operates from the earliest concept phases of a vehicle programme through to the first three months of mass production.

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve DSI processes and procedures
  • Act as a technical specialist supporting programme teams
  • Capture and share programme learning across teams
  • Attend programme meetings at all levels and present where applicable
  • Lead Quality Planning and Analysis for Manufacturing
  • Key point of contact with other department/disciplines
  • Manage technical issues and elevate where appropriate

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • A general understanding of Automotive Manufacturing Processes (ideally BiW – Body-in-White)
  • Understanding of part/assembly Location Strategy Principles
  • Dimensional/Tooling Maturation experience
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Six Sigma Training and Project Management Skills
