Join JLR’s Solihull Maintenance Operations team where you’ll play a key role in keeping our plant running safely, efficiently and fully compliant. This is a role focused on production equipment safety where you’ll drive process alignment, support engineering improvements, and ensure all maintenance activities meet the latest safety and legislative standards. This role gives you the opportunity to be supported with continual career development and to engage and network with many people associated to the production facility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work collaboratively within the maintenance team to maintain a safe, efficient, and high‑performing production environment.
  • Provide technical process guidance to support production, maintenance, and compliance standards meetings.
  • Promote and apply safety initiatives to ensure compliance with JLR safety standards and procedures.
  • Identify and drive process improvements through audits, innovation, and proactive compliance measures.
  • Support and lead health and safety audits, including hazard identification, risk assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Manage and implement process modifications, ensuring all related safety documentation is updated and maintained.
  • Support training and carry out additional compliance or safety‑related tasks as directed by management.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • NEBOSH (or equivalent) safety qualification, with knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Experience working collaboratively within maintenance and production environments, driving safety, efficiency, and high operational performance.
  • Proven ability to provide technical process guidance, manage process changes, and maintain accurate safety and compliance documentation.
  • Demonstrated success in promoting and implementing safety initiatives in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Strong track record of identifying process improvements, supporting audit compliance, solving problems proactively, and delivering safety and compliance training.
