The Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club, established in December 1984, has grown to become the world's leading Jaguar car club. Serving over 14,000 members across the globe, the club offers a vibrant community, expert technical advice, exclusive discounts with Jaguar specialists, and remarkable experiences.
Our existing members renew their membership annually mainly via direct debit. We require an administrator to ensure renewals have taken place each month and follow up any renewals that have not automatically been processed via direct debit. This will involve telephone calls as well as email follow-up to the member to renew their membership. The majority of these members are located in the UK, with some renewals throughout Europe requiring follow-up via email.
Recruitment of new members would also form part of your role, via social media posts, direct enquiries via email or phone, contacting previous members about renewal, trade exhibitions, and development of other channels to recruit new members. All our members and enquiries share a common interest in Jaguar motor cars, focusing on the 3Rs of our membership: Recruitment, Retain, and Renewal from our existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
This is a home-based role with flexible hours. Our main office is in Bristol; however, it’s not important where you are located in the UK. An incentive plan for recruiting new members, renewing lapsed memberships, and growing our membership is in place.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are used to working to KPIs and targets for renewals.
- Can work under their own initiative to follow up calls/emails for membership.
- Have an outgoing personality to speak to members about their renewals.
- Are IT literate for using our CRM system and the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Are self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
Flexible hours will involve evening and Saturday calls to the membership database, which could suit school hours. A working week will include some evenings and Saturday mornings due to some members being at work during the day, based on 30 hours per week. Attendance at trade shows and exhibitions throughout the UK for meeting members and recruitment of new members is optional.
Familiarity with member-based organizations or clubs is desirable.
