My client is a Main Car dealership based in Letchworth Garden City. Who are currently looking to recruit a MOT Tester/Prep Technician
What the role will include:
- Ensure the MOT Test Centre conforms to the standards set by the Vehicle Inspectorate
- Undertake MOT’s and re-test, working with in the DVSA framework
- Carry out diagnostics and updates to vehicles, using the latest manufactured diagnostic equipment
- Plan, carry out, check and test all work done to the highest possible standard
- Instruct the parts department of the parts that are necessary for the repair
- Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out and to immediately report any further works required or vehicle faults
- Assist service reception recording recovering, returning and moving customers’ vehicles
Experience, skills and attributes;
- Must have an up-to-date MOT Licence
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency
- Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
- Self-motivated and customer focused
- Excellent time management to ensure customer lead time scales are met
