Application Support Engineer required. My client is a leading software company based in Crowborough.
Position overview
- You will be responsible for dealing with client's questions and technical issues both via telephone and email.
- You will be hands-on and experienced with Software Application Support and will have the ability to pick up new systems quickly as their
- software is constantly being updated and developed.
- Liaising with clients / customers over the phone
- Ensure our clients systems runs smoothly and all issues are resolved as soon as possible.
- Receiving, logging and resolving IT issues
- To ensure that all software systems, procedures and processes are effectively documented to agreed standards
- Liaise with external suppliers of software / hardware systems and other specialist teams
- Undertake system administration tasks
Position requirements
- Experience in a similar role or as a 2nd Line support Technician
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience working in Software
- SQL Experience would be an advantage
- Have a passion for learning new skills and enjoy working within a team
- Friendly but professional in your approach
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Position Remuneration
- Monday to Friday 9am - 17:30pm.
- Salary £22,000 - 28,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday including bank holidays
