I am currently working with a busy main dealership in Eastbourne, East Sussex, which is seeking a Service Technician to join their busy service department.
This is a great opportunity to work for a long-established, main dealership – and this role offers career prospects and development.
Service Technician job responsibilities:
- Carrying out car and van servicing to manufacturer standards,
- Carrying out car and van repairs,
- Carrying out diagnostic tests on vehicles, quickly identifying problems,
- Carrying out MOT tests,
- Liaising with and updating the Service Manager on work in progress,
- Advising Service Receptionists about required repairs in detail,
- Working with the Parts Team to ensure required parts are available,
- Maintaining vehicle repair and service records,
- Maintaining your work area, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
The role of Service Technician offers the opportunity to work as part of a team, using your technical expertise to solve complex technical issues, while gaining new skills and exposure to new vehicle models, methods of working, and full manufacturer training.

- Have main dealer or independent experience,
- Be qualified to Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair,
