My client is a main dealership seeking to recruit a Trainee Parts Advisor.
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; every other Saturday 8:30am – 1pm
Location: Orpington / Bromley / Swanley
Working within a busy department, you will focus on delivering a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority will be maintaining a high level of service to the Workshop to ensure Technicians remain productive, and attending to Retail counter customers.
Trainee Parts Advisor Role:
- You will work with a close-knit team committed to delivering excellent Parts service.
- You should be a strong all-rounder with understanding of all aspects of a parts department, including goods-in processes, parts identification, order processes, perpetual stock checking, stock rotation, parts returns, and liaising with Service over parts-related matters.
- You must be customer-focused and able to prioritize your workload to meet Trade customer expectations.
- A good technical/mechanical understanding is beneficial to aid parts identification and up-sell techniques.
As a Trainee Parts Advisor, you will:
- Ideally have some experience as a Parts Advisor.
- This is a hands-on role involving liaising with all departments.
- Have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
