Software Support Analyst required. Excellent opportunity to work within an IT Support Team in a growing software business. They provide telephone & on-site assistance to customers throughout the country, dealing with various software and hardware technology issues. This is a full-time, hands-on position and it provides an excellent opportunity to expand and develop your IT knowledge while working with a motivated, friendly team. Personal skills, friendly concise communication and the ability to learn quickly on the job are the most important features of this vacancy.
Position Overview
- Provide remote technical assistance to existing customers regarding bespoke business management software systems
- Basic SQL Database Administration
- Provide some on-site technical assistance and training to existing customers
- Desktop PC & Server installation, configuration and diagnosis as required
- Client, server and network security management
- Multi-site LAN, WAN, and VoIP configuration and support
- Provide technical support to existing customers in use of a bespoke eCommerce platform
Position Requirements
- Driving License & Car – ESSENTIAL
- Ability to learn & adapt quickly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Experience of Microsoft Client/Server environments, Microsoft SQL & Networking technologies – Advantage
- Bright, driven and energetic with a passion for learning and technology
- Overnight stays occasionally required for customer visits outside the local area
