Smart Repair Technician – Basingstoke area
I am working with an Accident Repair Centre in the Basingstoke area of Hampshire who are currently seeking a SMART Repair Technician.

Job Location – Basingstoke
Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
Seeking a Smart Repair Technician from an automotive Body Shop or Smart environment, via an independent or franchised garage, who can prepare damaged panels, mask up vehicles in readiness for painting, carry out minor repairs to body panels and alloy wheels and also polish over vehicles following them being painted amongst other ad hoc duties.
You will be an integral part of our team as a Smart Repair Technician and will be working on all types of makes of vehicles in a new state of the art modern clean workshop. Working within the Bodyshop you will carry out Smart repairs to cars and LCV vehicles.
Job role to include:
You will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing any damage that has occurred to the vehicles. This includes scratches, scuffs and dents as well as windscreen chips, upholstery repair and leather reconditioning and recolouring and wheel refurbishments. You will also be responsible for cleaning and preparing the vehicles to be repaired.
As well as cosmetic paint touch ups and local paintwork repairs.
To maintain equipment on a regular basis and report any problems to the Bodyshop Manager.
About You:
Previous experience as a Smart Repairer within any type of bodyshop will be required.
Body shop / or equivalent experience
Qualifications will be an advantage.
Full driving licence
Able to work to tight timescales and thrive off the pressure of a busy bodyshop department.
