Job Description

Job role – Service Advisor

Location – Chichester, West Sussex

Salary – £28,000 OTE + benefits

Hours – Full time (Monday to Friday, Saturday 1 in 3)

I am working with an established dealership in Chichester, West Sussex who are seeking a Service Advisor to join their friendly team. Working as a Service Advisor this role offers you the opportunity to use your customer service and administration skills to keep our service department running smoothly, reporting to the Service Manager.

The successful Service Advisor will receive full manufacturer training with the added benefit of working for a Company that believes in progressing and developing their team, so full dealership training will be provided.

The Service Advisor role requires an outgoing, enthusiastic motivated individual who has excellent people skills to ensure the highest level of customer experience is always provided.

Key responsibilities for the Service Advisor role are:

  • Taking service, repair and maintenance bookings via telephone, face to face and email contact
  • Processing bookings through the internal (Kerridge) IT system
  • Liaising with the workshop team to ensure all is in place for each booked job
  • Keeping customers informed throughout work in progress – upselling any additional work requirements
  • Presenting and upselling a range of approved products and services
  • Undertaking all related administration (including invoicing), handing over cars, and taking payments
  • Ability to meet manufacturers customer satisfaction standards.
  • For this Service Advisor position, you will have:

  • Previous experience within Customer Service is essential
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the motor trade
  • A valid full UK driving licence
