Job role – Service Advisor

Location – Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary – £23,000 basic, £36,000 OTE+ Company Benefits

I am working with an ambitious commercial dealership in Ipswich, Suffolk who are seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their friendly team.

The successful candidate for the Sales Advisor role will have previous experience in a similar role and proven customer service skills. The Service Advisor role requires an outgoing, enthusiastic motivated individual who has excellent people skills to ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction is always met.

Duties of Vehicle Service Administrator role includes:

  • Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Booking customers vehicles in for Service, MOT, repairs
  • Advising customers on any work required, including costs
  • Arranging collection of vehicles
  • Liasing with the technical workshop to keep track of vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the required time
  • Adapting a positive sales approach regarding upsell
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training
  • The Service Advisor is responsible for the front of house service to customers of the Service Centre and it is important that the experience provided is always of the highest level of customer service.
