Parts Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our Service Team to deliver a high standard of service to all our customers. You will be a key member at the heart of our operation.

Job Location

Exeter

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm. ½ an hour unpaid lunch. Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12.00noon.

Parts Advisor Role

Responsibilities include:

  • You will be a key member of our operation and will be involved in duties such as over the counter customer parts sales in person and on the telephone.
  • Dealing with a busy workshop for orders for all parts.
  • Sourcing and ensuring the control and procurement of the same.
  • Involvement in stock controls, stock taking and warranty parts retention and storage for audit proposes.
  • Issuing PPE equipment to staff.
  • Resolving invoice queries, sorting returns to suppliers, chasing for credits on the same.
  • Involvement in controlling waste disposal, purchasing of tools and equipment for the workshop including consumables.
  • All parts are controlled by our dealer management system DMS.
  • We request all staff promote the company in a positive way to enhance parts sales and growth opportunities.

Additional Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor
  • Excellent customer handling skills are essential to this position
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and working as part of a team
