Our client is a main car dealership looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.
Salary yet to be disclosed OTE – Up to £30,000
Hours – Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm and alternative Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm
Parts Advisor Role:
- Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax, and in person at the Retail/Trade Counter, ensuring customer satisfaction by operating departmental procedures to a high standard.
- Supply parts as requested to the Service Department.
- Raise and maintain accurate records as per company procedures.
- Inspect parts in front of the customer as per company procedures.
- Inspect incoming goods against relevant documentation, report and record discrepancies.
- Place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
- Pick customer orders and place them in the correct area, such as delivery or inter-branch transfers, with relevant documentation.
- Report and record any discrepancies or damage to stock parts.
- Operate computers and machinery in accordance with company procedures and manufacturers’ instructions.
- Support and implement the company’s Quality System and adhere to relevant procedures manuals.
- Maintain cleanliness of the customer area and warehouse.
- Maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance.
- Observe all health, safety, and fire regulations.
