Our client is expanding their operation in the UK, and are looking to recruit an in-house Legal Counsel to oversee a small team.
Working with a small team you will be integral in supporting the business on a broad range of legal matters. This will include drafting and negotiating client contracts, mainly within the Public sector. You may also get involved in advising on any of the following whilst being responsible for your own specialist legal area:
- Data protection
- Procurement
- Employment
- Preparing and project managing tender frameworks
The position requires a minimum of 5 years' PQE. The client is open to your area of specialism, but previous Legal Counsel, Commercial or Employment experience would be preferred. You will need experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts under English law. Must have strong IT skills and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
