We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join us at our Main car dealership in Letchworth Garden City. We believe in ‘being the best’ and we only want the best to work with us.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
- Liaise with customers explaining repairs and issues
- Test the functionality of parts and systems
- Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
- Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts
- Willingness to learn with hands-on training
- Maintain the cleanliness of the workshop at all times
- Keep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques and in the commercial developments
What we need from you:
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
- Self-motivated and customer-focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver customer distinction at all times
- Enthusiastic approach to your ongoing learning and development
Location: Letchworth Garden City
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm
