Job Description
LCV Technician / MOT Tester – Near Maidenhead
Basic from £ 28,000 – £30,000
Main Franchise seeking MOT Tester / LCV Technician:
MOT Tester Role
Carry out MOT’s on all vehicles booked into the workshop
Liaise with Advisors and customers regarding work carried out
Work with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness
Attend regular training to update technical skills and meet dealer standards.
MOT Tester – Requirements
You must be a qualified and skilled MOT Tester with at least 2 years experience working as a Vehicle Technician
You must hold a valid MOT Licence
Full UK Driving Licence
LCV Vehicle Technician Role
You will be required to assist with breakdowns, to carry out servicing and maintenance repairs
Identify and diagnose vehicle faults using a logical and efficient method to ensure first time fix is achieved.
Communicate well with Customers, colleagues and Service Administration
Complete all necessary paper work in-line with company guidelines and manufacturer warranty procedures
As a LCV Technician:
You will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician
Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 of equivalent
Experienced in Vehicle Diagnostics
Appropriate driving licence for class of vehicle
Hours 40 hours a week DAYS! – 8am to 5pm with hour for lunch Monday to Friday. NO SHIFT WORK.
Overtime is currently paid at 1.25 on a weekday after completing all contracted hours. 1.5 at weekends, 2 on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
