The successful candidate will be reporting to the System Development Manager and will be providing technical support, instruction & supervision to students & staff.
Position Overview- Providing assistance to other IT staff on specific projects
- Ensure the IT infrastructure is maintained, secure and operational at all times
- Providing guidance, technical support and supervision of IT Hardware and software
- Preparation & setting-up all IT Equipment – Provide first line maintenance & user support / training
- Monitoring health and safety, ordering stock control
- Maintain CCTV & Control systems / Telephony & mobile systems
- Liaise with suppliers / provide training of staff in use of applications
- Carrying out installations & virus detections
- May have to occasionally travel to Hartlepool site
- Qualification in IT or a related Subject
- Professional IT accreditation e.g MCSE, MCSA, MCITP (desirable)
- Experience of working with relevant IT applications & networks
- Microsoft Windows & Office Knowledge
- Creative Cloud & Active Directory (desirable)
- Willing to deliver hours flexibly according to need
- Good analytic skills
- Organisation & ability to work with own initiative
- Systematic in approach to supporting systems
