IT Technician required. Our client is the largest, truly independent alarm receiving centre in the UK. They provide alarm monitoring for customers all across the country. They are now looking for an IT Technician to join their team based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will need to have a full UK driving license as you will be travelling to sites.
Position Duties:
- Providing 1st/2nd/3rd Line Support
- Travelling to sites to install/configure networks (firewalls, VPN)
- Receiving alarm tickets and resolving them in a timely manner
- Supporting and maintaining and setting up servers
- Complete full IT system installations, updates and upgrades (HW/SW)
- Daily checks to ensure systems are running smoothly and remain secure
- Testing signals
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT Support role
- Full UK Driving License
- Excellent networking knowledge (Firewalls, VPN, etc)
- Excellent knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
- Great knowledge with setting up/maintaining servers
Position Remuneration:
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (4:30pm finish on a Friday)
