Central IT Technician required. Our client is an established Multi-Academy Trust, that is developing collaborative partnerships with academies across the Humber region. They are now seeking an IT Technician to join their team based in South Hunsley School & Sixth Form College based in Melton.
The successful candidate will be part of a friendly IT team, working together to deliver a high quality IT service, providing support to staff and students within school via their ticket system. You will be supported by their experienced team with clear escalation routes, training, and regular feedback. You will provide a 1st line support help desk function and on occasions provide 2nd line support.
Position Overview
This role will include opportunities to troubleshoot & problem solve, therefore a solution-focused approach and a background in troubleshooting will enable you to help support and resolve a wide range of issues from initial contact and request, through to completion. You will cover all aspects of technologies from networking, servers to end-user devices, including hardware, and also use servers to provide IT services such as DNS/IP/DHCP/Active Directory and more.
Position Requirements
- Experience of working in an ICT support role
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2+
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Driving License as you may be required to attend other sites
Position Remuneration
- 37 hours per week
- £18,933 per annum
- 22 holiday days + bank holidays
