Seeking an IT Support Technician based in Huntingdon. My Client is a market leading and well-established engineering firm offering innovative design solutions to reputable brands. They have a large skilled engineering department to help facilitate product development. The company has solid market experience and this is backed by their dedicated support team, including Accounts, HR, IT, Quality & Environment, Purchasing and Supply.

The Successful candidate will be reporting directly to the IT Engineer. The role involves resolving both hardware and software issues to enable maintenance of computer systems and related technologies.

Position Overview
  • Working throughout different locations within the company and dealing with installation/maintenance of all hardware and software.
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving and repairing of desktops, laptops and server issues.
  • Implementing new technologies and innovations to successfully complete IT projects.
  • Use your own initiative and skillset to support the IT Engineer.
  • Provide a reliable and clear support service to both internal and external customers.
Position Requirements
  • If time allows add additional support to Encocam’s ERP system.
  • Being able to co-operate fully with the company regarding all H&S matters and be aware of the importance of complying with H&S Policy to ensure a safe workplace and maintain the integrity of the environment.
  • You may be required to train other colleagues as and when requested.
  • Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
  • 2 years experience in similar role.
  • Experienced in installation of hardware and software.
