I am working with a client near Washington in Tyne and Wear who are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Technician / Technical Support for their busy in-house help desk. To support all users via remote technologies.
As a Support Desk Technician you will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming helpdesk enquiries, and providing assistance to the 1st Line Support team to resolve customer issues
- Offering in-house support to more complex IT / Network / VOIP issues
- Server Configuration and monitoring
You will also be required to be hands-on with all server and desktop products, as well as a variety of networking and other components i.e. Routers, Printers and bespoke applications.
2nd Line IT Support Requirements:
- Previous experience working at 2nd Line level is required
- Experience working within an MSP environment would be preferable, but not essential
- Microsoft Office 2010 through to 2019 & Office 365 Administration
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008
- Knowledge of Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / 2019
- An understanding of networking protocols and devices
