Our client is a successful, privately owned IT company based in Lancing, West Sussex. They are now seeking a forward thinking IT Field Support Technician to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress within a successful, well-established company offering continued training and development.
The role will involve a combination of on-site client work (mainly within East and West Sussex), and being based at the company’s offices. A company car and mobile phone are provided with this position. As an IT Field Support Technician you will be supporting clients through our help desk, as well as visiting clients to resolve issues. Therefore you will need to be able to build reputable relationships with clients.
Requirements:
- Server OS & Desktop OS
- Networking – DHCP & DNS, Group Policy & AD
- PC Diagnostics & Fix
- Knowledge on Microsoft Exchange, Apple, Android, Virtualisation an advantage
- Able to work independently, with initiative
- Able to set priorities and manage time effectively
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous experience in a Field Engineer role
- To be able to carry out several ongoing tasks simultaneously
- Great Knowledge and a passion for IT
- Full DBS will be carried out due to the nature of the clients
Remuneration:
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
- Salary 24,000 – 28,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday including bank holiday
