Our client is a main car dealership looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team in Diss.
Location: Diss
Salary: £24,000, plus Bonus
Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5.30pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm
Parts Advisor Role:
- Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax and in person at the Retail/Trade Counter, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Supply parts as requested to the Service Department.
- Raise and maintain legible and accurate records as laid down in Company Procedures.
- Inspect parts in front of the customer as laid down in the Company Procedures.
- Inspect incoming goods against the relevant documentation, and report and record any discrepancies.
- Place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
- Pick customer orders and place them in the correct area e.g. delivery area/inter-branch transfers, together with the relevant documentation.
- Report and record any discrepancies/damage to stock parts.
- Operate computers and other machinery/equipment in accordance with Company Procedures/Manufacturers’ instructions.
- Support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant Procedures Manuals.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the customer area/warehouse.
- Maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance.
- Observe all Health, Safety and Fire Regulations.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience as a Service Advisor, preferably with a main dealership.
- Full driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
