Job Description
Classic Car Mechanic
We have a rare opportunity with an independent Vintage / Classic Car garage in the Swanley / Brands Hatch area. My client are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Mechanic to join their friendly team.
As a Classic Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician you’ll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service of the full range of Vehicles. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring vehicle parts are handled and stored appropriately. And of course, you’ll also play your part in ensuring that customers receive great service, from start to finish.
For this Mechanic / Vehicle Technician position:
You will have great attention to detail, with a good knowledge of quality standards and excellent workmanship.
You will be proactive, with a can do attitude, working well with a team of other technicians but also be able to use your own initiative.
You will be time efficient, working well under pressure to ensure you meet time deadlines.
You will be responsible for filling out appropriate paperwork and ensure Safety standards are being met at all times.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established privately owned company where you are able to build a busy and successful career.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.30 – Saturday morning rota about once a month.
4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and a week between Christmas and New Year when the garage shuts.
