Job Description

I am working with an ambitious company who are seeking an experienced Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their friendly team.

Role – VDA – Vehicle Damage Assessor / Bodyshop Estimator

Location: BH12

Salary: dependant on experience

The role of an Bodyshop Estimator / VDA/ Vehicle Damage Assessor is to correctly interpret Customer or internal instructions and complete estimates and associated documentation, by following documented Quality Procedures.

As a Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor:

  • You will need to examine vehicles and produce estimates for repairs, liaise and negotiate with Customers and Insurance Companies as required.
  • You will monitor estimate/conversion rate.
  • Able to ensure that all the necessary information is obtained and recorded, as required by documented procedures.
  • Be able to maintain appearance and manner in order to present the best possible image to Customers in accordance with Company Policy.
  • Be able to maintain good working relationships with Customers and other dealership staff.
  • Record any Customer complaints or non conformance of the Quality System and implement appropriate corrective action by following documented procedures.
  • Carry out any further duties, within capabilities, when requested by management. These may include visiting Customers and working outside normal hours.
