Job Description
My client is a main car dealership and are looking for an efficient and talented Alloy Wheel Technician to join our fast-paced body shop based in Letchworth. You will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing damaged wheels in line with the manufacturer’s specification and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare wheels for refurbishment
- Refurbish damaged wheels in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Previous use of Dimond Cut refurbishment equipment
- Shot blasting
- Sanding of wheels and preparation
- Wheel painting using modern painting products
- Competent in removing and fitting vehicle wheels, complying with safety standards
- Tyre fitting and wheel balancing
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience
- Driving licence is essential
- Be a team player with flexibility to suit the role and needs of the business
- Punctual with excellent time management
Location: Norton Way Group Accident Repair Centre, 667-668 Saunders Close, Letchworth, Herts SG6 1PF
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30
Salary: £25,000 per annum, plus bonus
