This is an opportunity to join a well-established IT Support Company, based in Bristol, providing support to a variety of customers across the area. They are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the busy IT team.

Working from home, you will be supporting their customers via telephone, email and remote support tools. As part of the desktop support role, you will get the chance to be hands-on with all server and desktop products, as well as a variety of networking and other components such as routers, printers and bespoke applications. Full training will be provided and you will be joining an experienced team. For the right candidate, there are progression opportunities within the company.

Essential skills:

  • Ideally, a minimum of 12-months experience working in a similar IT Support role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office365 (advantageous)
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of printers
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to diagnose faults and find solutions
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Able to follow agreed procedures and documentation
  • A basic understanding of networking protocols and devices
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar environment is required, either with an IT Support company or within an in-house support department

Package:

  • A basic salary range of up to £25,000 (depending on experience)
