The Lead Marketing Analyst will lead a marketing analytics team that supports the marketing team and studio stakeholders by providing analytics and insights on our marketing activities and impact. The role will be a central expert on marketing analytics. Ensuring analytics best practices to deliver insights that drive marketing decisions.
The Lead Analyst will deliver insights, learnings and guidance to digital advertising, CRM, customer lifecycle and our executive team and have a significant impact on the direction of our studio. As a lead analyst they will manage one senior marketing analyst, developing ways of working to deliver insights that help inform and improve marketing decisions.
This role will be part of the Analytics, Data Science and Engineering (ADSE) department. ADSE is the heart of player, product, and business insights on our games. The department acts as the analytics and data hub for the studio by supporting, gathering and maintaining analytics best practice.
The person in this role is most successful when they can merge technical, marketing understanding & analytical skill to provide insights and actionable results.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Lead a small analytics team who deliver insights that guide decisions on marketing targeting, spend and impact.
- Own the full funnel cross platform player analysis across a variety of tools, including Google Analytics, attribution partners & customer data platform
- Improve marketing campaign decision making and success criteria by integrating attribution, incrementality & media mix modelling data.
- Partner with data science to build & improve marketing prediction models such as LTV & Churn analysis
- Own marketing forecast models to better inform future budget levels & impact to marketing performance
- Leverage statistical analysis to optimize Marketing testing methodologies and outcomes.
- Develop best practice and transparent ways of working to deliver marketing reporting and insights
- Manage stakeholders across the studio, developing analysis and delivering insights to support their marketing decisions.
- Grow relationships across the studio to promote a data-driven partnership
- Partner with data engineering to manage data requirements such as schema requirements and data formats to support high-quality deliverables
What we\’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in marketing analytics in a B2C company
- Previous experience leading analysts while also delivering high quality insights
- Strong communicator and data storyteller
- Ability to manage stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Successful at driving and delivering change in a meaningful way
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Advanced skill in SQL
- Familiarity with modern data architectures (AWS, Snowflake, OLAP)
- Experience using modern data visualization tools e.g Tableau, PowerBI etc.
- Superior attention to detail, natural curiosity, and ability to problem-solve creatively
