Office location

Cambridge, UK – This position offers flexible working options, including predominantly remote work.

Applicants should be based (or willing to relocate) within a comfortable commuting distance of our office to attend onsite as required.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and analytical excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with Old School Rune Scape teams to develop a deep understanding of product strategy, player needs, and business priorities.
  • Deliver insights and business intelligence that directly influence product strategy, feature development, and roadmap planning.
  • Transform complex datasets into clear recommendations that support better decision‑making across Product, Design, and Leadership.
  • Query, analyse, and interpret large datasets to uncover opportunities to improve player engagement, retention, and overall game experience.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design teams to develop and enhance game telemetry and data collection.
  • Collaborate with central Data teams to define data requirements and contribute to the evolution of shared data products.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Old School Rune Scape's gameplay systems, mechanics, and player behaviours to provide meaningful context to analysis.
  • Champion data‑driven thinking across the game team and promote best practices in analytics and reporting.

What we're looking for

  • Experience leading or mentoring analysts within an analytics, business intelligence, or data‑focused environment.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and data cleansing techniques.
  • A demonstrable understanding of video game player behaviours, particularly in MMORPGs.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and architectures such as AWS, Snowflake, and OLAP technologies.
  • Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decision‑making across multiple disciplines.
