Location: Cambridge, UK (hybrid) with travel to the office twice per week.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of our in-game transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct daily manual reviews of potentially fraudulent transactions, process refunds, and identify trends to enhance our fraud detection mechanisms.

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform daily manual reviews of flagged transactions to assess their legitimacy
  • Process refunds for confirmed fraudulent transactions in a timely manner
  • Identify and analyse fraud trends and patterns to improve detection strategies
  • Update and maintain the rules within our decision engine to enhance fraud prevention
  • Produce comprehensive weekly fraud reports to inform stakeholders of current threats and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective fraud prevention measures
  • Use fraud detection tools and analytics (including Python and SQL) to assess risk and make decisions
  • Gain experience in gaming and fraud trends within gaming to identify potential improvements to systems/processes
  • Represent the company when communicating with suppliers and payment service providers (PSPs)
