Reporting to the Product Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Rune Scape, balancing player experience with commercial success to deliver sustainable growth for the game.

Working closely with Design, Production, Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, Community Management, and Leadership, you'll define product strategy, identify opportunities through data and player insights, and lead initiatives that improve engagement, retention, monetisation, and player satisfaction.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and a deep understanding of live-service games and player behaviour.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and evolve key areas of Rune Scape's product strategy, aligning player value with business objectives to deliver sustainable growth for the game.
  • Define product goals, KPIs, and success metrics for major initiatives and content releases, giving every project a clear measure of success.
  • Identify growth opportunities through player research, behavioural analytics, experimentation, and market analysis, turning insight into a roadmap that matters.
  • Build business cases for new features and improvements, including microtransaction and monetisation initiatives, helping prioritise the roadmap based on impact, effort, and strategic value.
  • Drive experimentation through A/B testing and hypothesis‑led development, validating ideas before they scale.
  • Monitor the health of the game across acquisition, engagement, retention, monetisation, and player sentiment, translating complex data into recommendations development teams can act on.
  • Champion player‑first decision making while ensuring commercial sustainability, balancing what players want with what the business needs.
  • Work closely with Design, Production, Analytics, Marketing, and Community Management to bring player feedback and cross‑functional insight into every decision.

What we’re looking for

  • Significant, demonstrable experience in Product Management within games or digital consumer products, ideally managing live-service titles with evolving roadmaps.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven grasp of player lifecycle metrics (DAU/MAU, retention, conversion, ARPDAU, LTV, churn), including experience with microtransactions or hybrid monetisation models.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience turning player data into evidence-based decisions — familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Proven track record prioritising and managing a product roadmap cross‑functionally with Design, Engineering, Production, Marketing, and Analytics.
  • Experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing, with exposure to MMORPGs or subscription-based products a bonus.

What we offer

  • When you join Jagex you can look forward to a generous Perks & Benefits package including:
  • Private Healthcare, including Dental Plan.
  • Discretionary annual performance bonus.
  • Minimum 6% Pension contributions.
  • Life Insurance.
  • Enhanced family leave policies from day 1.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays & the option to buy/sell holidays + so much more!
  • Inclusion & Accessibility Statement
