Our client is a high-growth, product-led business in the online entertainment and technology space looking to make their first in-house Tax Hire. This newly created role reports directly to the VP of Finance and Founder and is a rare greenfield role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape the tax function from the ground up.
Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll design and implement the group’s global tax strategy, ensuring they scale compliantly and efficiently across multiple jurisdictions. Take ownership for compliance, governance and transfer pricing whilst leading on indirect and corporate Tax. Working as the main stakeholder for external experts and support.

What You’ll Do- Lead the development of a global tax framework covering compliance, reporting, and governance.
- Advise leadership on international structuring, cross-border arrangements, and market expansion.
- Manage corporate tax, VAT, and gaming duty compliance across multiple entities.
- Build and implement transfer pricing and intercompany policies.
- Partner with senior leaders to embed tax strategy into commercial decisions.
- Drive automation and efficiency across tax data and reporting systems.
- Lay the groundwork for future hires and scalable processes.
- ACA/CTA (or equivalent) qualified with 6–8+ years’ experience in corporate and international tax.
- Comfortable leading both strategic and hands-on tax work.
- Experience with multi-entity or regulated environments (tech, fintech, or gaming a plus).
- Strong knowledge of VAT, transfer pricing, and intercompany flows.
- Pragmatic, commercially minded, and confident, working independently.
- Excellent communicator who can translate complex tax issues into business impact.
