Senior Financial Accountant – Global Media Business The Role We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join a global media business, taking ownership of key financial processes in a fast-paced, international environment. This role will be instrumental in ensuring strong financial control, high-quality reporting, and effective cashflow management across multiple markets. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end management of both direct and indirect cashflows, supporting complex, multi-territory revenue streams and cost structures. Design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global reporting streams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial information. Preparation of technical accounting papers and resolution of complex accounting matters in a group and multi-entity environment. Full ownership of stock accounting, including capital stock and content-related assets where applicable. Review, maintenance, and enhancement of the financial control framework across multiple entities. Supporting the annual statutory and group audit processes, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors. Review, preparation, and submission of monthly and quarterly management and group reporting. Line management, mentoring, and development of one Junior Financial Accountant. Preparation and review of key monthly balance sheets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across entities. About You You will be a qualified finance professional with strong technical expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, global media environment and is comfortable working across geographies and stakeholders. You will bring: ACA or ACCA qualification. Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally gained within a global media, advertising, broadcast, or digital content business. Proven experience managing both direct and indirect cashflows in a multi-entity or international environment. Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large datasets and financial data analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across regions. A demonstrated ability to redesign and improve financial processes, often leveraging technology at scale. The ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a rapidly changing, international environment.
