Role Overview

Operating across standard and bonded warehousing, the Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and customer-focused stock movement across outbound and return flows. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.

  • Outbound Logistics – E‑Commerce & Retail (Primary Focus)
    • Coordinate daily outbound shipments across e‑commerce and retail store replenishment.
    • Ensure on‑time, accurate dispatch in line with SLAs and brand standards.
    • Work closely with warehouse and 3PL partners to manage cut‑offs and peak volumes.
    • Support launches, campaigns, and store opening outbound requirements.
  • Express Carrier & Last‑Mile Delivery Management
    • Manage day‑to‑day operations with express parcel carriers (DHL, DPD, UPS, …).
    • Monitor delivery performance, transit times, and exceptions.
    • Resolve delivery issues in collaboration with Customer Service.
    • Support freight invoice validation and carrier performance reviews.
  • Bonded Warehouse Operations & Customs Compliance
    • Coordinate bonded warehouse stock movements in compliance with HMRC regulations.
    • Maintain accurate duty‑unpaid and duty‑paid inventory records.
    • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams.
    • Support audits, reconciliations, and documentation accuracy.
  • Inbound Logistics (Ad Hoc Support)
    • Track inbound supplier and production shipments.
    • Support customs clearance and delivery scheduling.
    • Ensure inbound stock availability for launches and retail needs.
  • Return Logistics & Reverse Supply Chain
    • Coordinate e‑commerce and retail store returns with carriers and warehouses.
    • Ensure timely processing, grading, and restocking of returned stock.
    • Support compliant handling of international and bonded returns.
    • Monitor return volumes, turnaround times, and cost impacts.
    • Work closely with Customer Service to resolve return‑related issues.
  • Retail Store Network Support
    • Support logistics for new store openings, refits, and VM rollouts.
    • Coordinate replenishment and ad hoc shipments to stores.
    • Support store‑to‑store and store‑to‑warehouse transfers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of fashion e‑commerce logistics and fast‑turn, high‑SKU environments.
  • Experience managing express parcel and courier services.
  • Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and customs compliance (highly desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident using WMS/TMS systems, carrier portals, and Excel.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Clear communication skills with internal teams, carriers, and external partners.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (fashion, e‑commerce, or retail preferred).
  • Experience in outbound logistics and last‑mile delivery management.
  • Exposure to bonded or customs‑controlled warehousing is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with inbound and return flows within an e‑commerce or retail environment.
  • Logistics or supply chain qualifications (e.g. CILT) are a plus but not essential.
