Overview
This role leads and grows all VIP & influencer partnerships and manages PR relations to generate awareness, earned media, and impressions for the Jaded brand.
Responsibilities and Duties
PR
- Build and actively maintain relationships with all influencers, VIPs, stylists and agents
- Write press releases in line with collection launches and pitch to press – gaining extensive coverage globally for the brand and seed out to contacts
- Manage and make happen custom looks for VIP talent
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnership teams to develop and execute strategic partnerships with influencers, celebrities, and key talent
- Regularly initiate relationship-building ideas (e.g., USA stylist showroom, influencer events)
- Manage production of PR and gifting events end to end from conception and bookings through to execution and hosting
- Find and coordinate with PR agencies
Gifting/Paid
- Lead and support the women’s influencer gifting team to align with product launches and key business moments
- Negotiate all paid rates to ensure best rates and required deliverables
- Complete/approve all contracts and send out to agents/managers
- Coordinate with the wider WW team to ensure PR boxes and elevated gifting boxes go out within agreed timelines to the correct talent
- Ensure the team tracks new talent and trending opportunities to be first to market with ideas
- Ensure agreed team KPIs are met
- Reporting—analyze and feedback to the wider team on what is working and what isn’t; use tools to support business decisions
Administration/General
- Day-to-day management of talent and influencer team – 3 direct reports (2 x Assistant + 1 x Coordinator)
- Approve all invoices for influencer outreach/PR
- Host regular team catch-ups and follow-up actions
- Lead by example, setting tone and standards of work and conduct
Research
- Ensure the company stays ahead by finding the hottest new talent across all social platforms and cultural or trending moments
Requirements
- A true networker – able to bring a wealth of contacts and strong relationships on board to target the most relevant editors, stylists, and VIPs to create hype for the brand
- 5+ years of experience at a brand or agency, ideally from a fashion/product background
- Confident and outgoing with experience engaging with influencers and media to build and maintain brand relationships
- Proactive, problem-solver who makes things happen
- Flexible, diligent, and adaptable to team needs
- Proactive and collaborative with the ability to manage a high-output calendar
- Impeccable organization skills and ability to keep things moving toward deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to act as an ambassador for the Jaded brand
