Reports to: Head of Brand
Job Overview: This role will provide direction on styling and staging across multiple shoots, according to the brief set by the head of brand.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Styling: Styling outfits, shoes, and accessories to create on brand/high fashion looks for shoots, from smaller street-style shoots to larger e-commerce/campaign shoots.
- Loan product from small designers to feature in shoots – handle all returns and ensure social credit correct designers.
- Manage styling budget sheet.
- Running ecom shoots/making selects on set with photographer.
- Organisation with Garment tech of samples ensuring the correct samples are used on shoots and returned in good condition with labels.
- Good communication with garment tech on shoot dates/if different size samples are needed.
- Styling looks for wholesale decks.
- Styling shoots for wholesale ecom.
- Book models & negotiate rates for fittings for upcoming campaigns.
- Assist on set with tasks such as set creation, steaming clothes, getting models dressed, and keeping outfits organised.
- Styling on trips abroad for campaign shoots & social shoots.
- Create make up & hair mood boards to be signed off by head of brand.
- Keep studio tidy and styling area organised.
Research:
- Provide creative direction, mood boards and location scouting for campaigns and studio shoots to share with the head of brand for sign-off.
- Liaise with producer to support their production and booking of any creative aspects (props, accessories, location booking etc.).
- Contributing to creative meetings, brainstorming ideas and pitching.
- Ensure the company stays one step ahead of the competition by finding the hottest new talent across all social platforms, including models, props, small businesses, collaborations etc.
Requirements:
- A true creative, with a strong professional network.
- Ability to style entire looks in a creative, forward-thinking way.
- Up-to-date with the latest fashion trends in clothes, shoes, accessories and makeup.
- Availability to work long hours during photoshoot days.
- Flexibility to travel, as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to act as an ambassador for the Jaded brand on shoots and with external talent and their agents/managers and partner brands.
