The Social & PR Coordinator will be responsible for looking after and reporting on our Chinese social media accounts, including, but not exclusive of RED, Weibo + WeChat.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), influencers, agents, MCNs + stylists in the Chinese fashion space
- Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to drive awareness and support product launches
- Leverage existing influencer relationships and build new connections with fashion / Gen-Z influencers with large followings (preferably >50K+ followers)
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify new influencer partnership opportunities
- Research and generate relevant creative content ideas that cater to our Chinese audience
- Schedule and post all social media content on relevant platforms
- Track and report on the performance of influencer campaigns, optimising strategies as needed
- Engage directly with the community and work with community managers across social channels and customer care platforms
- Support other marketing initiatives as needed, including events, paid media, copywriting, etc
- Write and edit high-quality content for socials and occasionally PR comms
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy and consistency
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Experience overseeing both Western and Chinese social platforms - including Instagram, TikTok RED, Weibo, WeChat
- At least 2 years of experience in influencer marketing or community management, preferably in the fashion / Gen-Z market
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLS / influencers
- Confident with excellent communication and networking skills
- Proactive, positive attitude
