Jade Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation for an experienced Indirect Buyer to join their team based in Dorking. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional looking to take ownership of indirect purchasing activities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operational Purchasing, you will be responsible for developing and managing a robust supplier base across a wide range of indirect categories, including consumables, maintenance parts, and services. You will play a key role in driving supplier consolidation, negotiating cost-effective agreements, and ensuring high service levels across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements across indirect spend categories
- Take ownership of indirect, consumable, and maintenance suppliers across multiple sites
- Build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Review and process purchasing requisitions (SAP/ERP and manual) daily
