Hours: Full time, 36 hours 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri
Salary: £26750 - £28000 DOE
You’ll play a key role in improving the day-to-day experience of residents by looking after communal areas, carrying out general maintenance tasks, and helping to keep our neighbourhoods safe, clean, and welcoming.
Key responsibilities of Caretaker Operative:
- Regular inspections: Carry out routine checks of communal areas and blocks, completing minor repairs and addressing issues immediately wherever possible.
- Estate service monitoring: Keep track of grounds maintenance, cleaning standards, and other estate services, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Caretaking duties: Support fire safety compliance, perform basic maintenance, and help with light gardening and outdoor upkeep.
- Community safety support: Assist with fly-tipping removal, nuisance reduction, and wider community safety initiatives.
