We are looking for a skilled and motivated Powder Paint Operative to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Job Description
- Prepare and clean surfaces prior to coating.
- Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply powder paint to components following technical guidelines.
- Hang parts on the power line track for coating and remove them after processing.
- Pick and organise components for coating according to production schedules.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards.
- Perform 100% kit verification before processing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all time
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in powder coating or a similar role (preferred).
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of different powder coating techniques and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or job sheets.
- Forklift licence or experience handling materials safely.
- Basic maintenance skills for coating equipment.
