Our client, a successful manufacturer are looking for a Data Entry Clerk that will be responsible for entering and updating a variety of data into their systems with accuracy and efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and completeness of the company’s data records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with databases and spreadsheets, * Data Entry: Accurately input and update data in various systems and databases, ensuring consistency and correctness.

Data Verification: Review data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.

Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize electronic and physical files as required for company data and documentation.

Report Generation: Assist with generating periodic data reports and summaries for team leads or department managers.

Document Processing: Scan, file, and organize documents to maintain up-to-date records.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to company data policies, confidentiality, and security protocols when handling sensitive information.

Quality Control: Identify data discrepancies or errors and work to resolve issues in a timely manner.

GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English; further qualifications in data handling or office administration are beneficial.

Experience:

Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is advantageous.

Use of an MRP system – Preferably Oracle

Skills:

Strong typing skills with high accuracy.

Keen attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work to deadlines.
