Our Client is looking for a motivated Catering Assistant to be part of the catering team, supporting the delivery of an exceptional customer experience and quality food and beverages across all catering outlets.
Duties of a Catering Assistant:
- Deliver exceptional customer care by going above and beyond
- Basic food preparation including preparation of hot and cold food dishes and baked goods
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept neat and tidy in line with health and safety requirements
- General duties including but not limited to clearing of tables, till work, preparation of both hot and cold drinks, pot wash
- Supporting colleagues in other business areas when required
- Follow directions of the Manager on Duty
Additional Duties:
- To act in a professional manner towards team members
- Take part in all training required by the role
- Carry out other duties related to the business as reasonably required
- Maintain and adhere to standards set out by the business
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong verbal communication and good ability to interact with customers and team members
- Be adaptable to changing work and environments
- Have basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Be able to work as a team or solo
- Be of smart appearance with good personal hygiene
