Job Description
Accounts Senior - Full-Time Opportunity (or Part-Time Job Share Considered)
Location - Dorking
Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Hours - 9am-5pm Monday to Friday - Contactable 8am-6pm
The Position :
Our client is seeking a fully qualified ACCA or ACA Accounts Senior with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a general practice accountancy setting. This role is ideally suited to an experienced individual who can hit the ground running, as the firm is currently in a period of growth.
You will join a supportive and established team, with a structured induction to help you quickly integrate into their ways of working. The company is open to discussing flexible arrangements, including job shares, for the right individuals.

Duties of the role :
- P11Ds
- Payroll
- Personal Tax Returns
- VAT Returns
- Management Accounts
- Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparation of company accounts
- Audit work when required on a diverse client portfolio
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Supervision of outsourced functions when required
- Opportunities to assist with the training and supervision of trainees.
Role Requirements :
Essential
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- 5+ years post qualification experience in general practice environments.
- Experience managing junior staff
Desirable
- Audit protocols and processes
- Experience in Charity accounts, GB Accounts, and Trusts
- Strong IT skills
- Experience in cloud based booking software such as: Sage, Quickbooks & Xero
- Tax scale experience
