We currently have an opportunity to recruit an experienced Head Chef who will be responsible for our kitchens and a busy conference and banqueting suite with a capacity up to 500 covers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy environment with a motivated and passionate team.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
  • Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
  • Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food
  • Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs
  • Develop menus, control purchases and wastage
  • Food Safety & Hygiene and Health & Safety Legislation qualifications
  • Strong motivational and influential people skills
  • You will be an effective communicator, and be able to integrate with other Head's of Department
  • Write menus and emphasis on keeping with current food trends
  • An eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent brand standards
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within Restaurants and Conference & Banqueting

This is a Full-Time position working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings.
