The Senior HR Business Partner – EMEA is a strategic leadership role responsible for partnering with senior business leaders across the EMEA region to drive organizational effectiveness, performance, and growth. Operating in a fast‑paced, private equity‑backed environment, this role leads the regional HR agenda while managing and developing the EMEA HR team across the UK, Italy, and France. This position acts as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, aligning people strategy with commercial objectives, operational execution, and change initiatives. Key Responsibilities of Senior HR Business Partner – EMEA
- Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR partner to EMEA senior leaders, aligning people strategy to regional and global business priorities.
- Provide thought leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and change management.
- Partner closely with Finance and Operations to support commercial decision‑making, productivity, and cost optimization.
- Coach leaders on performance management, leadership effectiveness, and organizational capability.
- Lead and develop the EMEA HR team across the region ensuring consistent practices and strong local execution.
- Drive alignment between regional HR activities and global HR strategy, policies, and frameworks.
- Establish clear priorities, accountability, and development plans for HR team members.
- Ensure effective collaboration across COEs (Total Rewards, Talent, HR Operations).
- Oversee employee relations matters across the region, ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
- Partner with Legal to manage complex ER issues, investigations, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment practices across the EMEA.
- Lead execution of the Performance & Growth framework, including goal setting, feedback, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Support leadership teams in identifying high‑potential talent and addressing performance gaps.
- Drive engagement, culture, and leadership development initiatives that support retention and performance.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, employer branding, and leadership hiring.
- Leverage HR technology (HRIS, talent systems, analytics) to drive insights, improve employee experience, and support business decisions.
- Champion adoption of HR systems and tools across the region.
- Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to engagement, turnover, performance, and capability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with significant time spent in a strategic HR Business Partner role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi‑country EMEA operations, preferably including the UK, Italy, and France.
- Proven experience in a private equity‑backed or highly performance‑driven environment.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR practices across EMEA.
- Experience leading and developing HR teams in a matrixed or global environment.
