Job Purpose
Landscape operative to work in a team of landscapers carrying out soft and hard landscape works throughout North-West England.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Landscape construction – hard and soft landscape
- Labouring work for hard landscape construction
- Soft landscaping construction work including – planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing, practical gardening tasks, pest and disease control, weed control.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach
- Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations
- Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary
- Foster client relationships and develop a culture of trust and respect
- Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs
- Attempt to solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issues to the Line Manager
Skills / Qualifications
- Communication skills dealing with colleagues and customers
- Previous experience desired in both hard and soft landscaping

- Health and Safety knowledge essential and qualifications an advantage
- Full clean driving licence essential
Other Information
41.25 hours per week. Salary negotiable depending on experience. Site is in countryside outside Alderley Edge and not easily accessible using public transport.
