The Role
We are looking for a highly self-motivated and experienced Account Handler to join our team. This role is crucial in managing client relationships from first inquiry to event completion and final invoicing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the live event production industry, be highly organised, and have a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary contact for clients, managing their journey from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Understand client needs and propose bespoke audio and lighting production solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
- Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Attend events when necessary to manage client expectations and oversee production.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring a smooth client experience.
- Manage invoicing and follow up on payments where necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in an account handling or production management role within the live events industry.
- Strong understanding of audio, lighting, and live event production. Brand knowledge should ideally include: Allen&Heath, Shure, D&b, Digico, Chauvet, Chamsys or similar brands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-friendly approach.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience using HireHop or Sage is a bonus but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – this is essential for the role.
