Our continued growth both in existing and emerging sectors has resulted in a number of new roles being created.
As a subject matter expert, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of market-leading, high-quality soil science services to a broad portfolio of clients, including:
- Agricultural land classification (ALC)
- Soil classification
- Soil resource management
- Peatland management/restoration
- Environmental research
- Environmental impact assessment
- Ecosystem restoration/landscaping support
Remit and scope:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consultancy services.
- Design and deliver soil surveys.
- Prepare streamlined, high-quality reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Foster and develop relationships with clients, ensuring success and ongoing growth of market share.
- Provide safety leadership aligned to our Beyond Zero values and culture of caring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in soil science consultancy, including the delivery of surveys and reporting.
- Proven track record in supporting infrastructure projects throughout their full life-cycle.
- Solid understanding of best practice and relevant guidance in soil science.
- Good digital data manipulation and assessment skills, including GIS expertise.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership.
