Join our Surveying and Reality Capture (Geomatics) team and play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions for our clients. As a Land Surveyor, you will work on unique and exciting projects across sectors such as Highways, Railways, Environmental, Utilities, Airports, Buildings, and Industrial Development.
You will be involved in:
- Conducting topographical, laser scanning, and deformation monitoring surveys for engineering projects.
- Collaborating with the survey team to allocate resources and ensure timely, quality delivery.
- Communicating project updates and issues to the Survey Project Manager.
- Assisting with project estimates and monitoring progress.
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development.
- Checking surveys using robust QA procedures before verification.
- Producing survey drawings, reports, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure safe working practices on site.

Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Land Survey or Geomatics.
- Proven experience in land survey procedures and use of industry-standard equipment/software.
- Knowledge and interest in Geomatics disciplines such as Topographic, Measured Building, Hydrographic, Deformation, and Laser Scanning surveys.
- Flexibility to work across diverse environments and willingness to travel to site locations.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Membership of a Chartered Institute or a commitment to work towards professional accreditation (desirable).
- Project management skills, leadership abilities, and commercial awareness (beneficial).
- Experience with Leica or Trimble equipment, LSS or SCC software, and Terrestrial Laser Scanning (advantageous).
